This free to attend event is held at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre and is open to all attendees.

Conference Dinner

Join us for an evening of delicious food and even better company at Urban Brewing Dublin on October 7th! Kick things off with welcome drinks at 6pm, followed by a three-course meal served at 7pm in a vibrant, relaxed setting.

Guided Tour of Cancer Revolution: Science, Innovation and Hope Exhibition

Step inside the science that’s changing lives on October 7th, 2:30pm – 4pm. This free interactive exhibition pulls back the curtain on cancer research – its past, present, and future. A free guided tour will show how this remarkable exhibition is reducing fear and bringing to life for the general public the transformative impact of research in cancer.

Through hands-on displays, remarkable artefacts, and deeply personal accounts, you’ll see how pioneering discoveries are changing the future of cancer treatment. From the earliest discoveries to today’s cutting-edge breakthroughs (including systems biology), explore the surprising facts and inspiring innovations that are saving lives right now.

Optional Half Day Tours

As part of the ICSB Conference in Dublin, we’re delighted to offer a selection of half-day tours on October 7th, beginning at 2 PM. These experiences are a perfect way for delegates to immerse themselves in Dublin’s rich history, dynamic culture, and lively charm.
Once minimum numbers are reached the tours will be confirmed with each individual interested.

1. Guinness Storehouse Experience

Located in the heart of the working St. James‘s Gate Brewery in Dublin, Guinness Storehouse is one of the most exciting and unusual venues the City has to offer. Enjoy a tour of the Guinness Visitor Experience and learn everything about Guinness from 1759 till today. ​Highlights include the Tasting Room, where you explore the beer’s flavours, and the Guinness Academy, where you learn the art of the two-part-pour under the watchful eye of an expert.

2. Vintage Tea Tour

Take a step back in time with Vintage Tea Tours and experience Dublin in a very unique way. ​Guests shall enjoy a sightseeing tour of the capital whilst tucking into some delicious sweet & savoury treats. Enjoy the renowned Afternoon Tea delicacies, hear fascinating stories of our wonderfully interesting capital city and tap along to some fabulous 1950’s jazz.

3. Best of Dublin Highlights

This walking tour takes you on a storytelling adventure as you visit many of the city’s highlights. You will focus on the historic “Golden Kilometer” – as you travel through broad streets and narrow passageways, you will learn about the influential people who also walked these lanes. You will pass by the former Houses of Parliament, the pedestrianised Grafton Street, Powerscourt Townhouse (an 18th century Georgian Mansion, now full of independent shops), City Hall, the courtyards and gardens of Dublin Castle, the Chester Beatty Library, the medieval city walls, Viking & Medieval Dublin, the Old City & Temple Bar West, Fishamble Street (site of the first performance of Messiah by Handel), and Christ Church Cathedral (Ireland’s oldest church).
